About NCCA

The Mission of the National Child Care Association is to promote the growth and safeguard the interest of quality early childhood care and education
focusing on licensed, private providers of these services.

Since 1987, NCCA has been the only voice of the licensed, private childhood care and education community. Since that time, the association and its leadership have succeeded in establishing an influential presence for the private sector at state and national policy and legislative tables.

NCCA is a federation of state associations and as such draws outstanding leadership from across the United States. Truly a representative organization, much of NCCA's focus is on insuring opportunities for the private sector in the provision of services including subsidized child care, Head Start, state pre-k programs and professional development opportunities.

NCCA is a professional trade association focused on the needs of licensed, private early childhood care and education programs. As an alliance of care and education professionals and owners, NCCA takes a singular position in the United States as the ONLY organization representing the specific interests of the licensed, private community.

Membership in NCCA enhances and insures the private sector's role in providing quality early childhood care and education. NCCA brings a unified voice to Washington and strives to balance the quality, affordability and availability of licensed child care and education programs. Member services and benefits bring the buying power of the Association to every individual center supporting sustainability and quality programs.
