This CD-ROM disk contains five training modules, including:
- Module 1 - Workplace and Sex Harassment as a Type of Employment Discrimination
- Module 2 - Compliance with Federal Wage and Hour Laws
- Module 3 - Civil Rights Laws Protecting Employees Based on Race, Gender, National Origin, Religion, and Age

Each training module is structured in an intuitive manner, as each contains:
Purpose - outlining the reason for the training and the type of material covered;
Learning Objectives - concepts the reader should understand by the end of the training materials;
Sample Scenarios - capturing the elements of the module and useful in role-playing;
Legal Obligations - imposed on the employer and the penalties for non-compliance;
Training Materials - clearly explaining the law in every day terms;
Sample Policies - that may be adopted by a center as its own and used in employee handbooks;

Inservice Outline - to conduct staff training on their role in staying within the law;
Quiz - for managers to demonstrate understanding of the materials.
When a center purchases the It's the Law! CD-ROM disk, it is licensed for one (1) manager from that center to submit completed quizzes and earn verification from the NCCA. For an additional fee, other managers from that center may become certified under the same license.
Individuals who successfully complete each module's quiz will receive a certificate of completion which can be placed in the manager's personnel file as evidence of training. Registered individuals who successfully complete all five quizzes will receive 1.0 Continuing Education Unit (1.0 CEU). It is also approved for and meets the criteria for continuing education for the National Administrator Credential (NAC).
